"Sasha is the absolute best to work with. She was incredibly patient with my questions while also being diligent and working at a quick pace. She has a perfect mix of constructive criticism, and any compliment or call-out she had always felt deserved. She spots grammar mistakes like a hawk and is able to polish narratives, characters, and scenes to make your work the best it possibly can be. Highly recommend."

"Working with Sasha was an incredible experience. It was my first time working with an editor, and she walked me through the process, making me feel comfortable while providing weekly updates. She's honest, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile. The developmental edits caught major weak points and helped me strengthen my story, while the line/copy edits polished the novel and made it ready to send out to the world. I highly recommend Sasha for editing and will happily work with her again."

"I can't say enough about how great Sasha was to work with on my (very intricate, complicated) paranormal romance. She went above and beyond what she was meant to do, paying attention to every little detail in order to hone the book into something great. Will definitely work with her again if given the opportunity!"

"Sasha did an amazing job with developmental editing, catching major inconsistencies and areas that lacked impact, and line/copy editing, ensuring my style was consistent and readable. Editing is always a daunting process and certainly not a favorite step, but Sasha demonstrated both compassion and professionalism while keenly identifying areas for improvement and maintaining my writer's voice. Her communication and timely updates gave me the added confidence my manuscript was in good hands. Sasha is someone you'd want on your team if you're looking for quality. Highly recommended!"

"I am so glad I found Sasha and decided to work with her. Not only did she give me detailed feedback upon our agreed deadline, but she also provided me with a great deal of updates, reassurance and security, which as a first timer, I value it highly.

I learnt from her commentary and extra resources she sent. Besides, her unbiased response to all my doubts has given me a confidence boost. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again."

"I hired Sasha to help me edit my magical realism novel. I chose her after receiving sample edits from six editors I found via the Editorial Freelancers Association. Sasha communicated weekly throughout the length of the project to let me know she was on track to meet our agreed upon deadline. She actually met the first and most tedious deadline a little early, which was helpful. She caught a few inconsistencies in my story that helped me make the plot stronger during the editing process. I appreciated her attention to detail. For anyone worried about an editor just using AI or a grammar software, this confirms that she will actually read your story. The style guide she provided was helpful in ensuring I kept everything consistent as I continued to work on my book after her edits. While I did not agree with all of Sasha’s suggested edits, the use of MS Word track changes made it easy for me to see her suggestions and take what I wanted from her feedback. If I had questions, I knew I could ask her. Overall, if you are looking for an editor, Sasha was great. I’d recommend her to a friend."

"Words are an author’s most intimate companions—they are our children. So when we take that final leap into editing, we do so with our hearts in our throats. What will become of our words, of our message, once the editor meets them? Will they be loved or rejected? But what if, instead of judging, the editor nurtures them—helping them grow into their most beautiful and authentic selves? My editorial journey with Sasha was exactly that: a journey of discovery, acceptance, growth, and love. I would entrust my words to no one else. Thank you, Sasha!"

"I loved my time working with Sasha. This is the first time I have worked with an editor who gave me very detailed updates, which put me at ease, especially after having previous, unpleasant experiences. In the update, she shared what she liked about the novel so far, and what she was looking forward to learning. I only hired her for a sensitivity read, but she was kind enough to also answer some questions I was asking my beta readers, in impressive, organized detail. I appreciated her taking the time to give me that extra feedback.

The sensitivity read went great and I felt so comfortable reading her report. When she says she isn't trying to silence or censor anyone, and is only trying to strengthen your work, she means it. She pointed out what needed to be altered, but she also surprised me by pointing out what was accurate and what she liked when it came to discussing sensitive topics. It really helped me see where my strengths were and that I was on the right path. Her report also offered suggestions on how to reword some sentences, which helped me, a debut author, a ton. She never sounded harsh with her criticisms either. I have worked with others who made me feel like they were just trying to write the story they wanted or what was common versus helping me with my story. I love that Sasha didn't do that. As a marginalized author who's trying so hard to write something that comes from my culture, it really meant a lot to have an editor adapt to my style instead of trying to throw a "rulebook" at me. It made me feel safe and confident that I can write a story with my cultural background versus trying to adapt to the "norm."

Her professionalism and responses to emails blew me away. I felt very comfortable and never had to worry she wouldn't answer. She also gave me feedback earlier than our agreed deadline, which helped me so much with editing my work sooner. I really look forward to working with her again and implore others, especially BIPOC authors, to hire her."
